GET OUT OF PAIN!
There are a lot of approaches to getting out of pain. If you suffer with pain you might have tried some of these methods:
Painkillers
Supplements
Massage/Bodywork
Manual (passive) spine and extremity adjustments
Stretches
Corrective Exercises
The “Don’t do that!” Approach
You may get better, you may have occasional flare-ups or you may even try everything and nothing works.
However, you may be missing on vital piece of knowledge:
PAIN* isn’t where the problem is…PAIN is just a symptom.
*(chronic, non-acute pain)
Pain is just your body’s way of communicating with you. When you have shoulder pain, that isn’t your body saying, "I’ve hurt my shoulder.” Your body is really saying,
“My shoulder is working too hard. Something else isn’t working.”
In the body, everything is connected and everything affects everything. A pain in your shoulder could be a problem in your hip, foot, hand, knee- anywhere! In fact, the LAST PLACE we look is “where it hurts.”
If you are in pain, everyone can tell it. You don’t move well. You move slower and as they say in America, you’ve got a “hitch in your giddy-up.” While anyone can see poor movement in a big way, we look for it in small ways. We understand that one piece not moving correctly can have a butterfly effect on the rest of the body. What is comes down to is:
If you have a pain problem, you have a movement problem.
Once we find the problem area and rehabilitate the problem area, pain is instantly eliminated. At one time, movement caused pain. Doesn’t it stand to reason that movement will relieve pain? It is as simple as that.
Using Z-Health, I do something no other chiropractor, doctor, physical therapist, massage therapist, body worker, trainer...anybody does- I give you control over your body. You learn the movements that are needed to fix the problem, you reprogram your nervous system and you get yourself out of pain. It really is that simple! So no endless trips to the chiropracter, no small fortune spent on physio and no more damn painkillers! Movement is the best medicine!
